Hope of Springtime

As winter sets in with its colder days ahead of us, I thought some images of blooming trees with their springtime visitors would provide everyone hope that spring is only 111 days away.

The bay breasted warbler nestles itself in the blossoms of a wild apple tree at McClaughrey Spring Woods. The white crowned sparrow perches on a branch of a redbud tree at Sagawau Environmental Learning Center. The pastel pinks and soft greens of the redbuds make for a naturally vibrant surrounding.
