Salsa

4 large ripe tomatoes, chopped
½ cup chopped white onions (scallions, red or yellow onions can be substituted)
1 medium clove of garlic, finely chopped or grated
¼ cup of cilantro
1 jalapeno or 2 serrano peppers (more depending on your taste).
— Trimmed, ribs removed, seeded & finely chopped (add seeds to increase hotness)
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 lime, juiced.

1. In a bowl, combine all of the ingredients and serve chilled.
